Soft Pad Group EA 219 by Charles & Ray Eames.

The shape and structure of the Soft Pad Chair is identical to that of the Aluminium chair. The difference comes in the soft leather upholstered seat and backrest cushions which provide great comfort.

The back rest features three stitched on cushions in leather, adding an interesting contrast to the slim profile of the chair. The EA 219 features a higher back than the EA 217, offering more support to the back, neck and shoulders.

Featuring a backwards tilt mechanism which can be regulated and set in the forward most position if required and a fully adjustable seat height which is operated via a pneumatic spring.

The armrests are in polished die cast aluminium, with a choice of polished or chromed die cast aluminium for the 5 star base.

Castors available for use on hard floors or carpeted areas - please request at point of order.
