Charles and Ray Eames augmented the interior of the Eames House with numerous objects from their extensive travels.

The figure of the black wooden bird - evidently one of their most prized objects of American folk art - has stood in the centre of their living room for over 50 years.

Often seen in many of the Eameses' photographs, the bird figure is from the Appalachain mountain region of the Eastern United States.

Made of solid Alder with a black laquer finish and steel wire legs, grab one before they fly of the shelves!
