The aim of Charles & Ray Eames' when designing the Lounge Chair and Ottoman was to produce the ultimate in comfort with the highest quality finishes. Designed in 1956, the Eames Lounge Chair conveys the impression of a well used baseball glove, inviting the user to sit back and relax. The accompanying Ottoman provides an extra level of comfort when reclining with your feet elevated.
The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman are manufactured solely by Vitra who have held the licence since 1957.
