Eames Plastic Chairs

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in the 1950s, the plastic chairs were first presented in New York as part of a Modern Art competition.

The Eames Plastic Side Chair is a contemporary version of the legendary Fibreglass Chair. Charles and Ray Eames have created a range of legendary masterpieces unique in their nature and still challenging the most current of modern design.

The more popular side chairs are the DSW and DSR. The DSW is supplied with Maple legs and a Black painted cross wired frame. Available in red, cream, white, mustard, stone white and more. The DSW is suitable for home, contract and commercial environments with 8 shell colours available. The DSR is available in the same range of colours as the DSW but comes with either Chromed or Silver Coated legs.
