Designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the Herman Miller furniture company and manufactured under licence by Vitra since 1957.

Their aim for the Lounge chair was to combine utmost comfort using only high-end materials and high-quality finishing. The chair conveys the impression of a well used baseball glove, inviting the user to sit back and relax. The Ottoman provides even further relaxed comfort.

Vitra have recently produced a new version with increased dimensions making it more comfortable for the taller generation of today.
