Vitra are producing a limited edition run of 1000 Pretzel chairs world wide and only 75 are coming to the UK. On May 29th this year George Nelson celebrates his 100th birthday.

The numbered Pretzel chairs are produced from high-quality Palisander veneer and is accompanied by a comprehensive edition folder.

Once your Pretzel chair is registered with Vitra you will receive your collectors box with a certificate of authenticity in your name and will be dated 29th May 2008 - George Nelson's 100th birthday.

Also included in the collectors box is a quality document on the history of the Pretzel chair.

The Pretzel chair is an ingenious twist of laminated wood prompted by Nelson's notion of a chair being something you could lift with two fingers. Orders are restricted to one per customer.
