The Barcelona daybed is part of the Knoll Barcelona family designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the King and Queen of Spain.

The Knoll Barcelona Day Bed is hand made from the buffing of the framework to the cutting and sewing together of the 72 individual leather panels taken from one cowhide that make up the surface and bolster.

Each Knoll Studio Barcelona daybed has the Knoll Studio logo and signature of Mies van der Rohe stamped into the left hand rear leg. Knoll Europe has registered and won the rights as the sole manufacturers and distributors of the Barcelona range as seen below.
